I have a friend who blogs incredibly fast. She says she blogs every day, it doesn't matter what she's blogging about, so long as she's done blogging in three minutes. Three minutes! That's some fast writing. She says its an exercise in discipline, and its a way for her to learn how to form thoughts on the page without all the unnessacary internal editing that goes on before writing, which often ruins whatever you were trying to originally say.
Well, if you haven't guessed already, I'm trying her method out for just this one post. It's sort of fun, as I keep glancing at the clock, almost like a typing test (yes, I enjoy typing tests!).
So anyway, onto the real subject: House Plants.
I'm on the fence when it comes to houseplants. I like plants, I think they brighten up a room, obviously they add life, and color, and make the surroundings more natural. But on the other hand, I feel the joy of houseplants is one of those things that makes the a domestic out of a housewife, and I'm just not sure I'm ready to be "domesticized" or whatever its called when you care more about casseroles and tea on Saturdays than playing tag football, hiking with college friends, and going to indy concerts and dressing up to be wild and crazy.
They say kids make the domesticity happen, but I worry its houseplants. Maybe I'll just buy a bunch of cacti.
Alright, three minutes up. Time for me to mention my weblinks and go. First web link is all about
washboard abs. Next web link talks about the
omegas (vitamins, not end of days). And the final weblink is an extensnion of the omegas as
omega 3 vitamins.
